Backyard weddings might be my new favorite thing.
Lori + Ben were married last weekend at Lori’s grandmother’s house and it was just a dream! Lori was a DIY bride through and through and all her details came together beautifully! I loved the relaxed, laid-back vibe of the whole day – haybales for ceremony seating, a tented backyard reception, and just the most gorgeous fall day to spend outside for all of it! 🙂 Photos were one of the most important things to Lori + Ben, so we set up a timeline that really fit for them. Lori + Ben shared a first look which gave us lots of time for portraits before their ceremony (I’m LOVING all these first looks lately!), and then we were able to sneak some sunset photos in right before my Ben and I left for the night! Oh my gosh, I wish I could shoot here every day – it was just gorgeous! That tree lined street almost made me feel like I was shooting a southern, Texas wedding or something! I loved it! 🙂 The day was very focused on the love between these two – no bridal party, a private first look, and just lots and lots of time to love on each other during portraits. Couldn’t have asked for a prettier day to be a part of!
Lori + Ben, I hope you’re having so much fun on your “mini-moon” in Amish country and loving being the new Mr. + Mrs. Stehulak!! 🙂
